It is said that the Superstar Rajinikanth’s Linga is about the controversial Mullai Periyar Dam issue and his role is inspired by the British engineer who had build it. However, there is no official confirmation on this.
Directed by KS Ravi Kumar, Linga is produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The shooting of this film is progressing at a brisk pace in Karnataka.
Rajinikanth plays dual roles in this movie and has two heroines – Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka – to pair up with. AR Rahman is scoring the music for Linga.
